For one of our clients we're looking for an experienced manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their team. You will be expected to excel in a fast pace, growing company and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. You will need to have outstanding interpersonal communication skills to deal with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
Your Tasks
- Preparation of dimensional control templates of extrusion for the existing and new projects;
- Investigation of the root cause of the customer claims;
- Daily statistical analysis of the performance of the dies in terms of product quality;
- Analysis of extrusion failures and preparation of statistical analysis in EXCEL.
Your Qualifications
- Strong communicative skills, organized and well-structured approach towards tasks and responsibilities
- Analytical fact-based approach to problem solving
- Preferred experience in following quality tools: PPAP, MSA, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions
- Previous quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required with preferred experience with IATF 16949
- Required experience in using problem solving skills such as 8D’s
